Vox Mundi Festivali

last weekend of June to the first weekend of August

Translated from Latin as “Voices of the World Festival”, Vox Mundi is a series of concerts held in Magliano in Toscana’s Piazza del Popolo.

The event is described as a “journey through the people’s music to learn about different cultural identities”. Translated, that basically means you’re going to be privy to some of the best folk music from each continent.

No two Vox Mundi festivals are the same and each year is like being in the World Music section of a CD store, except that you’re actually listening to the bands live in a medieval town surrounded by summer flowers. There is nothing like it, trust me.

You can also pick up dinner before each concert from the stalls selling local products and wine around Piazza del Popolo.

For more info and the exact date of the festival each year, check out the official festival website.
